Instructions

1) Write the original ad unit <div> codes to the page where desired on the initial/first page load (delaying for lazy-load if desired):

// Example with a Proper ad unit named “tvtropes_content_1

<div class="proper-ad-unit">

<div id="proper-ad-tvtropes_ content_1"> <script> propertag.cmd.push(function() { proper_display('tvtropes_content_1’); }); </script> </div>

</div>

2) When you are ready for the next instance of each ad unit, write each ad unit to the page (deleting the previous one if writing to the same DOM location) but with an increment identifier, starting with “-2”, appended to the ad unit name (note there are two locations that need to be updated whenever you reuse an ad unit):

<div class="proper-ad-unit">

<div id="proper-ad-tvtropes_content_1-2"> <script> propertag.cmd.push(function() { proper_display(‘tvtropes_content_1-2’); }); </script> </div>

</div>

3) For instances/pageviews 3 and beyond, continue to write the “new” (or delete/replace if appropriate) ad units, incrementing the appended identifier on each new instance/page:

<div class="proper-ad-unit">

<div id="proper-ad-tvtropes_content_1-3"> <script> propertag.cmd.push(function() { proper_display(‘tvtropes_content_1-3’); }); </script> </div>

</div>
